"Wannabe-in-Law"

Films: Fanatic (1965)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Believe it or not, there are parents out there who would kill to see their loved ones get hitched. Except, there are few that would say that literally. And unfortunately, Mrs. Trefoile was one of those people.

History: A reclusive religious nut, Mrs. Trefoile was on edge with Patricia, the ex-fiancé of her deceased son, Stephen. Even though Pat wanted nothing to do with him, Trefoile believes that her rejection has sullied her, and decides to keep her prisoner until she's repented. And she's got some eager servants to do it.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After Pat's rescued by her actual fiancé, Mrs. Trefoile is left alone to be stabbed in the back. Presumably, one of the servants did this in a fit of vengeance for her fallen comrade.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-Mrs. Trefoile may not be a very powerful killer, but she's got a cold and manic disposition, and she's not afraid to show it, despite her age.

Trivia: -Mrs. Trefoile was the last role of Tallulah Bankhead, an actress known for her voluptuous and condescending roles in the past, as well as a rampant unstable personal life.

-In 2010, Broadway showed "Looped", a play about the production of this film, in which Bankhead came into conflict with the sound editing department over redubbing.

What we wouldn't give to shut her up instead.
The joke is right on the top of this poster. Can you guess what it is?

Help. You need it now.

Unlike most killers, she prefers to finish things off quickly.

A knife works just as well, though.
